Third Switzerland national team goalkeeper Fabrice Borer has withdrawn from the European Championship. He broke his arm and the goalkeeper lost the opportunity to defend the honor of his country.

The goalkeeper, who plays for the club, suffered an injury during training on Saturday, and an X-ray revealed that he had fractured his right forearm. Sebastien Roth was called up to the team instead of Borer.

He is already the fourth player in the Swiss national team to suffer an injury. Previously, Mark Streller, Leonard Thurre, and Johann Lonfat had to withdraw from the team.

Today, Switzerland will face the Croatian national team in group B matches at 19:00.
