Probably the biggest surprise of the 11th round of the "A League" was registered in Klaipėda, where Vilnius "Vėtra" played against the local "Atlantas" and suffered a defeat with a score of 1-3. "Vėtra" conceded all three goals in the first half. The guests managed to soften the difference only at the very end of the match.

The meeting was more actively started by the "Vėtra" footballers, who pressed the opponents right at the beginning of the match. Already in the 4th minute, Egidijus Juška took a dangerous shot from a distance of 17 meters, but Lima Severino, who was in an offside position, touched the ball, and the referee noted a foul. In the 12th minute, L.Severino received the ball on the goalkeeper's box line, but hesitated to shoot and the opponents neutralized the danger.
After repelling the attacks of "Vėtra", the "Atlantas" footballers started to attack more and their attacks quickly resulted in goals. In the 17th minute, after a lifted corner kick, Kazimieras Gniedojus scored with a header, and "Atlantas" moved forward 1:0.
The second goal also came from a corner kick. "Vėtra" defenders managed to kick the ball out of the penalty area, but no one marked Bogdan Nesterenko, whose shot from 17 meters was unstoppable for the "Vėtra" goalkeeper - in the 28th minute "Atlantas" was already leading 2:0.
Approaching the end of the first half, the hosts' lead became overwhelming. After a pass from the flank, the ball touched Andrius Skerla's hand, and the referee awarded a penalty kick to the Vilnius team, which Luca Aničičius successfully converted. After the first half, "Atlantas" surprisingly dominated over "Vėtra" with a score of 3:0.
After the break, the ball was mostly controlled by the guests, but they did not create any dangerous opportunities near the opponents' goal, while "Atlantas" prepared very dangerous counterattacks.
In the 48th minute, L.Aničičius jumped in front of the goalkeeper, but hesitated to shoot, and the ball went out to the side, and "Vėtra" goalkeeper Stanislav Kozyrev managed to block the opponent's shot.
In the 60th minute, S.Kozyrev again had to save his team from Mateo Siličius's attack, and eight minutes later, the Vilnius goalkeeper S.Kozyrev repelled another opponent's shot, but "Vėtra" defenders hit the crossbar trying to clear the ball.
For a long time, "Vėtra" failed to create any dangerous chances. Only towards the end of the match, in the 81st minute, after the substitution of Denis Celiuk, he managed to reduce the difference - the forward of "Vėtra" scored with a header after a pass from the flank.
In the 86th minute, "Vėtra" was saved by the crossbar after a penalty kick by "Atlantas" defender Donatas Surblys. Nevertheless, the residents of Klaipėda won convincingly with a score of 3-1 and forced "Vėtra" to suffer their fourth defeat.
