Two weeks ago, Darius Magdišauskas, who went to Sweden for family reasons, may lose the position of head coach in the "Šiauliai" team upon his return to Lithuania. This was mentioned by the club's director Saulius Lesnickas on the club's official website.
"The coach should return from Sweden in about two weeks, and then his future will be decided," S. Lesnickas stated. "We are waiting for the coach, and only then will we make all the decisions."
Darius Magdišauskas' assistant Ryčius Tavoras temporarily led the team in the 11th round of the A League on Saturday and unexpectedly secured a point in the match against last year's champions, the "Kauno" players, with a 0-0 draw.
A former player of "Šiauliai's" "Sakalas," who took over the reins of the team at the beginning of this year due to a change in team management.
