Football legend Paul Scholes believes that his compatriot Jack Wilshere made a mistake.
According to the celebrity, the Arsenal midfielder should have moved to Serie A instead of being loaned to the Premier League team Bournemouth.
"I would have liked to see him in a big club, like Roma."
Wilshere would have gained valuable experience abroad, which would benefit both himself and the England national team," said Scholes.
"Just the fact that the midfielder is wearing a Bournemouth shirt doesn't guarantee him a permanent place in the team. He must show results, no matter the level of the team."
It was previously reported that several Serie A teams are interested in the player.
