Paris Saint Germain team ultras do not intend to forget forward Neymar's behavior.
This summer, the Brazilian had expressed his desire to leave the Ligue 1 champions club and during a friendly match, fans even raised banners and urged him to pack his bags as soon as possible.
Finally, Neymar's transfer saga has come to an end and the Brazilian may appear on the pitch in this weekend's match against Strasbourg.
Before Saturday's match, PSG ultras released a public statement:
"In football terms, the forward is one of the best players of his generation, but that is far from the most important thing today.
We have seen Neymar's disrespect towards the club several times, and sometimes even humiliation.
The player chose a confusing move to Barcelona - one of our biggest rivals in Europe - as a communication strategy, even when talking about his best career memories.
Neymar did not issue a public apology and will soon be returning to our stadium. We are highly skeptical of his ability to play another season here, wearing our club's jersey.
The most active fans group will have the duty to remind the player that his actions cannot go unpunished.
We also invite all insulted fans of the Paris team to remind Neymar that he had no right to make such mistakes and that the path to repentance will be long, very long. We do not question that we will punish the whole team for one player's behavior," ultras wrote.
