PSG board president: Matuidi will not leave anywhere

"Paris Saint-Germain" club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi ensured that Blaise Matuidi will not move anywhere this summer.

During the transfer window, the French national team midfielder was linked with Turin's "Juventus" and "Manchester United", but the "Ligue 1" champions do not want to let the player go.

Discussing the acquisition of Jese Rodriguez at a press conference, a PSG representative said that the team's composition will not change anymore.

"For me, the transfer window is already closed," - said Al-Khelaifi. "Matuidi has a contract with us and we maintain very good relations with him."

"We did not discuss losing Matuidi because he is a cornerstone of the team."

The president later confirmed once again that Jese is the last newcomer to PSG. This summer, the ranks of the strongest French club were also added by Hatem Ben Arfa, Grzegorz Krychowiak, Thomas Meunier, and Giovani Lo Celso.
