The defender of Paris Saint-Germain club Thiago Silva does not rule out the possibility of wearing the blue and garnet Barcelona shirt in the future.

Last summer, the Brazilian moved to PSG for over 40 million pounds, but the Catalan team was also interested in the then AC Milan defender.

In last week's UEFA Champions League quarter-final match between these teams, Thiago Silva showed excellent play and is once again linked to the Catalan team.

"You can never say a definitive 'no' to anyone. I am happy here, but you never know what may happen in the future," said the Brazilian to "El Mundo Deportivo."

"Last summer there were negotiations between my agent and the Barcelona team, but I had already promised PSG director Leonardo that I would play for PSG. When you give your word, you cannot go back on it."

"We all have dreams. I have liked Barcelona since childhood. They had players like Romario, Ronaldo, and Rivaldo back then."

"Do I have a release clause set? I recently moved to Paris, so I don't think about it. But everyone knows that a solution can always be found," Thiago Silva concluded.

The Brazilian defender signed a contract with the Parisians, valid until the summer of 2017.
