The Paris Saint Germain team failed in their first attempt to convince AC Milan to sell goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Various Italian sources reported that the Ligue 1 champions' intention to buy for a sum of 20 million euros (and to include player Alphonse Areola in the deal) ended in failure.
AC Milan immediately said "no" and in the future hopes to receive a significantly higher sum of money.
The 20-year-old G. Donnarumma is considered the most promising Italian goalkeeper, who should protect the national team's goal for many years to come.
In the last Serie A championship, the player appeared in 36 league matches.
