The newspaper "L'Équipe" reports that the French champions PSG are considering the possibility of luring RB Leipzig's center-back Mohamed Simakan. PSG spent the whole summer trying to reach an agreement with Milan's Inter for the transfer of the defender Milan Skriniar, but the negotiations are proving difficult. Inter demands 70 million euros for the player as he can still extend his contract with the Italian club. Although Skriniar remains PSG's priority, the club understands that there are no guarantees regarding the player's arrival, and with potential sales of Thilo Kehrer and Abdou Diallo, options at center-back would be very limited. The French champions have chosen another alternative and have already started negotiations with the Leipzig team. Leipzig values the Frenchman at 40 million euros and would consider selling the player, despite his contract still being valid for 4 years. PSG could also include their own players in the deal. Mohamed Simakan played 40 matches last season, scored 1 goal, and provided 1 assist.
