PSG forced to significantly cut player salaries © Reuters

The Parisian team "Saint Germain" will have to significantly reduce their expenses in order to fix their accounting books.

As reported by "L'Equipe", next summer the French champions will have to cut salaries by 30 percent for their players if they want to avoid violating the Fair Play rules.

According to the media, that's why during the January transfer window, PSG acted very cautiously and did not waste crazy amounts of money on new signings.

During the upcoming offseason, free agents such as defender Sergio Ramos or forward Lionel Messi could sign with the club, with whom the club has not yet signed new contracts.
