Today's special press conference, where Lionel Messi was presented at PSG club, was attended by Paris club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi. This October marks 10 years since N. Al-Khelafi took over the reins of Paris Saint-Germain club and became the team's president. At that time, the Qatari had set a goal of bringing in either Messi, Ronaldo, or both. Well, yesterday was the time when that goal was finally achieved. Lionel Messi joined PSG, and Nasser Al-Khelaifi was definitely satisfied and shared some interesting thoughts during the press conference:

About the historic day for PSG club: "This is a historic day for the club and the entire football world. Everyone knows Leo. Leo makes football magical and he is a winner."

About Mbappe's future: "Mbappe's future? I think everyone understands. His future is clear. He himself has said that he wants us to have a competitive squad. Well, at the moment we have the most competitive squad in the world. So there is no excuse for him to leave. He can't do anything but stay."

PSG president was also asked about financial rules: "I was waiting for this question. We have always respected UEFA's Financial Fair Play rules. We checked everything with our financial people and knew that we could acquire him. The press should focus not only on negative things, but also on the positive things that Messi brings."

This was already the 5th PSG acquisition this summer, and even four of them (Gianluigi Donnarumma, Sergio Ramos, Georginio Wijnaldum, and Messi) came to the club for free. Next season, the Paris club will undoubtedly aim for Champions League trophies and only the final there.
