After yesterday's ECA Club Assembly in Geneva, the new president of the organization, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, briefly recalled the Super League project and the three clubs still involved in it - "Barcelona", Madrid's "Real" and Turin's "Juventus". According to the owner of PSG, the stubborn ones have no chance of implementing their plans in the future and it is better to talk as little as possible about them. "I do not intend to waste time talking about the events of April 18 and the 'not-so-super league' because I do not want to focus on storytellers and failures. Together we defended the interests of European football, which were related to everyone - players, clubs, leagues, national associations, and most importantly - fans," clarified Al-Khelaifi. The new head of ECA was also praised by UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin: "He is a good captain who took the helm when the old one jumped off the ship."
