"Barcelona" lost another one of their academy prodigies.
The 16-year-old Xavi Simons, who joined the "Barcelona" academy back in 2010, officially announced that he is leaving the Catalan ranks. He did not reach an agreement with the club regarding a new contract.
Shortly after, Paris "Saint-Germain" officially announced that the promising Dutch midfielder has signed his first professional contract with them, which is valid until 2022.
The talented footballer has been playing for "Barcelona" in the U17 team in recent years.
Despite his young age, X. Simons is already recognized worldwide - he is followed by more than 1.5 million users on Instagram.
