PSG struck "Real" twelve, "Atletico" reached dramatic equalizers against "Juventus"

At 22:00 in the new UEFA Champions League season, another set of matches from groups A-D were played.

Paris Saint-Germain team put on a fantastic performance in front of their fans, defeating Real Madrid with a score of 3:0.

Real Madrid had a tough time from the start of the match - PSG did not allow even to think about easy ball control.

The first goal came in the 14th minute, when Angel Di Maria, after a brilliant play with Juan Bernat, scored against his former team.

And that was not the end for the Argentine - in the 34th minute, he once again beat Thibaut Courtois from approximately 20 meters. Real was dealt a harsh blow, from which they did not recover.

Gareth Bale directed the ball into PSG's goal in the first half, but after VAR review, handball was detected. In the second half, the ball ended up in PSG's net again, but Real was once again punished after VAR review - Karim Benzema's goal was disallowed due to Lucas Vazquez's involvement in the attack when he came back from an offside position.

Eventually, the Madrid team was sealed in added time when Thomas Meunier scored the third goal and put a full stop in this duel.

In other matches, Atletico Madrid sensationally erased a two-goal deficit and in the very end of the match, equalized against Juventus.

In the first half, neither team scored, but the action started in the second half. In the 48th minute, a fantastic shot by Juan Cuadrado brought the visitors from Turin ahead.

In the 65th minute, the hosts were forced to pull the ball out of their nets again, as Blaise Matuidi directed it with his head into the goal.

It seemed like Juventus took a solid step towards victory, but just five minutes later, Stefan Savic brought back the intrigue by reducing the lead to one goal.

Atletico players returned to the match in the final moments, pressing the opponents and in the very end, it paid off. In the 90th minute, Hector Herrera left the Juventus team without a victory with a fantastic header after a corner, bringing the score to 2:2.

In another D group clash, Bayer Leverkusen fell at home against Lokomotiv Moscow.

In group B, Red Star Belgrade dealt confidently with Bayern Munich players. Goals from Kingsley Coman, Robert Lewandowski, and Thomas Muller decided the game with a 3:0 victory.

In group C, with the same result, Manchester City defeated Shakhtar Donetsk. Mahrez, Gundogan, and Gabriel Jesus scored accurately for them.

Another clash in this group between Dinamo Zagreb and Atalanta ended in a crushing Croatian victory, where Mislav Orsic scored three goals.
