23-year-old Ivory Coast defender Serge Aurier caused a real scandal in France. Paris Saint-Germain club suspended the team member indefinitely for unethical behavior.
On Sunday, a scandal erupted in France when a video of S. Aurier answering questions on social media was released. He particularly offended the team coach Laurent Blanc, whom he described as a homosexual, and also made fun of Zlatan Ibrahimović and Angel Di Maria.
When asked if Z. Ibrahimović has oral relations with team coach L. Blanc, the player replied: "He takes everything." S. Aurier described fellow defender Gregory van der Wiel as "thinner than water", goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu as "useless", and A. Di Maria as a "clown".
PSG wasted no time in releasing an official statement after the video surfaced: "This Sunday the club learned about Serge Aurier's video in which he answers questions from internet users. This video contains inappropriate comments about teammates, especially - about coach Laurent Blanc."
"The club has started considering a penalty for the footballer, who is temporarily suspended. For this reason, Serge Aurier will not be included in the Champions League squad for the match against Chelsea.
At present, Serge Aurier, one of the most talented right-back defenders, has already apologized to the club and teammates."
