On Sunday, three matches of the XXXVth round of the "Ligue 1" championship were played in France.
The championship leaders Paris Saint-Germain unexpectedly lost two points in the match against Valenciennes.
The visitors took the lead after 17 minutes with a goal from Gael Danic, and from the 43rd minute they had one player more, as PSG defender Thiago Silva was sent off the field.
However, the hosts managed to recover and equalize the score in the 83rd minute. Defender Alex scored the goal.
In another match, Lyon's team did not leave any chances for Nancy's team in the away game. Bafetimbi Gomis scored a double, and Yoann Gourcuff added one goal.
After this weekend, PSG and Marseille are separated by 7 points. Three rounds remain until the end of the championship.
