"Manchester United" team's young defender Adnan Januzaj's agent revealed that the "Paris St.Germain" club was interested in the football player.

Last autumn, the "Red Devils" offered the Belgian a new contract, and the footballer signed a five-year deal.

However, the 19-year-old received a much higher salary offer from the French giant PSG. Nevertheless, the Belgian decided to stay in Manchester.

"We could have waited and seen how much effort 'Man Utd' would put in to keep Januzaj at the club and what other offers we would receive," the agent said.

"Many clubs knocked on our door, especially the 'Paris St.Germain' team."

"Five minutes before signing the contract, the director of the Paris club called me and made an impressive offer."

"Adnan would have become a free agent this summer, so they were ready to offer him anything. However, money was not the factor that determined his decision. When he chose 'Man Utd,' he could have signed a more lucrative deal with 'Anderlecht' club," said the footballer's agent Dirk De Vriese.

This season in the Premier League, A. Januzaj scored 4 goals and made 4 assists in 26 matches.
