Paryžiaus „Saint-Germain“ team defeated Marseille footballers in the French Super Cup final 2:1 and became champions of this tournament for the eighth consecutive year. PSG took the lead in the 39th minute of the match after a goal by M. Icardi. The result was doubled by Neymar, who came off the bench and accurately converted a penalty kick in the 85th minute. Marseille managed to narrow the gap only in the 89th minute, with D. Payet scoring the goal.
