At home, the French champions overcame Girona 1:0.

PSG's victory was decided by a goal scored in the 90th minute after a blunder by the visiting team's goalkeeper, Paulo Gazzaniga.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund crushed Club Brugge 3:0 on the road.

BVB won thanks to a brace from Jamie Gittens and the first goal from Serhou Guirassy while representing Borussia.
