Fantastic form demonstrating PSV winger Cody Gakpo recently revealed in an interview that he did not end up at "Manchester United" this summer. The Dutchman shared his thoughts in a recent interview with "The Times":
"This summer I was close to a move to "Manchester United". I had several conversations with coach Erik ten Hag," said the Dutchman.
"In the end, the deal did not happen, and it was a big disappointment for both me and my development, because "Manchester United" is one of the biggest clubs in the world. It would have been beneficial for both me and PSV to sell the player to "United".
"If I had the opportunity to join the Premier League, of course, I would consider it. After the unsuccessful move, I was quite anxious, but I recovered fairly quickly."
Cody Gakpo has demonstrated fantastic statistics this season in 18 games played, scoring 13 goals and providing 11 assists.
