Eindhoveno PSV unites forces with a Mexican club. The Dutch club officially announced that it is starting a partnership with the highest division Mexican club, Guadalajara's "Chivas" team. The official announcement states that both clubs want to strengthen their positions in the international football market. PSV's General Manager Toonas Gerbrands said: "Internationalization is a very important aspect of our mission and vision, as a result of which we decided to collaborate. "Chivas" is an excellent club that is very popular in Central America. We believe that great potential can be achieved with this collaboration," the Dutchman said in the official statement. The following players from Mexico have played in the PSV team: Carlos Salcido, Maza Rodriguez, Hirving Lozano, Erick Gutierrez, Andres Guardado, Hector Moreno. Guadalajara's "Chivas" is one of two clubs, along with the "Club America" team, that has never fallen from the top division in Mexico. Meanwhile, PSV also has a rich history, and currently competes with Ajax for the Eredivisie title.
