UEFA has announced a list of twelve referees who will work at the final stage of the 2012 European Championship in Poland and Ukraine. They will officiate 31 matches.

It is important to note that for the first time in these championships, referees behind the goal lines at both ends of the field will assist the field referees, not just the sideline assistants. This system, aimed at facilitating decision-making in the penalty area, has already been tested at several international tournaments.

The championship of the sixteen best European national teams will take place from June 8 to July 1.
