On Thursday morning, the schedule for the upcoming season of the Premier League was announced. In the first round of the 2022-23 season, league champions Manchester City will face West Ham United away. At the season opener, Liverpool will face another London club - Fulham away. Manchester United will host Brighton at home, Tottenham will host Southampton, and Chelsea faces a tough trip to Liverpool to play against Everton. The round will be opened by the Crystal Palace vs Arsenal match in London. Looking at the entire schedule, it is interesting to note that this season will feature two highly anticipated derbies in the same rounds - the Manchester and North London derbies. In the same round, there will also be the derby between revived Leicester City and Nottingham Forest. In the middle of the season, from mid-November to the end of December, there will be a break in the local leagues due to the World Cup, which will take place in Qatar.
