Spanish Football Federation has announced the schedule for the 2019-20 La Liga season. The championship will begin on August 18 and will finish on May 24 of the following year.
Defending champions Barcelona will start the competition with an away match against Athletic Bilbao. Real Madrid will face Celta in Vigo, while Atletico will play against Getafe at home.
In the second round, Barcelona will go against Real Betis in Seville. Real Madrid will host Real Valladolid, and Atletico will travel to Leganes.
The first El Clasico between Barcelona and Real Madrid will take place on October 27 at Camp Nou, with the return leg in Madrid on March 1 of the next year.
The Madrid derbies between Real and Atletico will be played on September 29 (Wanda Metropolitano) and February 2 (Santiago Bernabeu).
