Captain Carles Puyol says he wants to represent the Spanish national team for another two years. Together with Carles Puyol, an experienced defender who makes up the main central defender tandem, plans to participate in the European Championship in 2012. "I have thought long and hard about how I should behave, and I have decided that I want to represent the national team for another two years," said 32-year-old Puyol in his internet blog. The defender added that he consulted with the national team's strategist Vicente Del Bosque beforehand.
