Former Glasgow Celtic and Nottingham Forest striker Pierre van Hooijdonk cursed his compatriot Louis van Gaal.
According to the former player, even the worst English coaches now mimic the tactics of the famous coach.
"At first, he seemed like a suitable successor to David Moyes, but so far he has been disappointing.
"Man Utd's style of play is terrible. I don't see a coach's vision, he is unpredictable," said the Dutchman.
"It all started last summer. We couldn't understand the club's transfer policy.
It seemed like Man Utd just bought a few famous names. The result of all this is a disjointed team of high-profile players."
"Even the biggest clowns laugh at Van Gaal. When I played for Nottingham Forest, I worked with them. It was Dave Bassett and Ron Atkinson. They are respected in England, but I know that these people are just bad actors who don't know how to help the team. This group also includes Sam Allardyce," said the former striker.
Currently, the Man Utd club is in fifth place in the Premier League.
