Qatar could lose the right to host the 2022 World Cup.

FIFA surprised many when they chose Russia for the 2018 World Cup, but their decision became even more shocking when it was revealed that the 2022 World Cup will be held in Qatar.

However, the planet's championship may not move to the exotic land of Asia. It is announced that FIFA will reconsider such a choice again this year.

Qatar has received a lot of criticism for poor conditions for construction workers working on stadiums. Low-paid construction workers, forced to work in unsafe conditions, have sacrificed many lives. Their work has been described as modern-day slavery.

Consideration is also given to the health of footballers. At the time when the World Cup should take place, Qatar typically experiences temperatures of around 40 degrees Celsius. Although there was talk of possibly moving the World Cup to winter, it would disrupt national leagues too much.

It is announced that England, Germany, and the USA are involved in the preparations for the 2022 World Cup. However, the decision should not be clarified before September.
