One of the outsiders of the English Premier League, a London club, will be strengthened by two defenders: Nedum Onuoha, purchased for about 4 million euros, and Taye Taiwo, borrowed for six months.
These are the first two purchases during the winter transfer window for coach Mark Hughes, who took over the team's reins a few days ago.
25-year-old Onuoha represented the Manchester team since 2004, but played only three matches this season in an episodic role.
Meanwhile, 26-year-old Taiwo, who represents the Nigerian national team, arrived at Milan from Marseille last summer, but failed to establish himself in the main lineup. In Serie A, the coach trusted him on the field only four times.
QPR, currently in 18th place in the league table, is also interested in the Brazilian Alex, who belongs to London's Chelsea team.
