London is expecting to pay around 5 million euros for Roma striker Djibril Cisse in the near future. However, there is a possibility that the Frenchman will only be on loan.
The 30-year-old footballer moved to Italy after a successful season with Panathinaikos in Athens, but he couldn't establish himself in the capital city team. In 17 matches in the Italian championship, of which he started 13, he scored only one goal.
Meanwhile, QPR, fighting for survival in the Premier League under new manager Mark Hughes, is looking to strengthen their squad and sees Cisse as an excellent candidate.
The English team should also be joined by Mali national team defender Samba Diakite, who will be loaned from Nancy.
