Carlos Queiroz has been dismissed from the position of head coach of the Portuguese national team.
The 57-year-old specialist faced troubles last week when he was suspended for six months for obstructing doping tests.
The former assistant coach of "Man Utd" was also criticized for poor performance of the national team. Portugal started the European Championship qualifying tournament with a draw at home against Cyprus and a loss against Norway.
Who will replace Queiroz will be revealed before the next match of the Portuguese national team on October 8 against Denmark.
