"Manchester United" bid farewell to head coach Erik ten Hag on Monday and already has a real candidate to take his place.
As early as Monday evening, journalist David Ornstein reported that "United" is close to an agreement with Lisbon's Sporting strategist Ruben Amorim.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano announced on Tuesday morning that the 39-year-old Portuguese is willing to once again take the helm at "Man Utd," but he has put forward one important condition.
R. Amorim will only move to England if the clubs reach an agreement on his buyout clause, which could be around 10 million euros. The strategist himself is not planning to pressure the "Sporting" club and is prepared to stay there until the end of the season if necessary.
Nevertheless, there is almost no doubt that "Man Utd" will agree to pay the buyout clause.
