After working in the English Premier League for more than six years, Rafael Benitez revealed his further career goals.
The 55-year-old football specialist worked at Real Madrid this season, but due to disagreements with the team's players and poor performance in early January, he was dismissed from his position as head coach.
The former Liverpool and Chelsea strategist insists that his priority is to return to the Premier League, as it would be the best option for him and his family.
"I like the Premier League and returning to it would be my priority," Benitez said in the BT Sport studio. "My family lives in this country, so it would be convenient for them as well."
"But making a decision is not easy, especially for my wife. After the first month everything is fine, you are with your family, your wife, but after the next one you start thinking that you need to take on new challenges," added the Spaniard.
Despite his desire to return to the Premier League, Benitez added that he has not received any offers from a club at the moment.
