During the period of 2006-2009, Ramon Calderon, who led Madrid's "Real" club, continues to spare no sharp criticism for current "White" club president Florentino Perez.
R. Calderon is a big critic of the current leadership of the royal club. In an interview with "Omnisport" television, the former "Real" president emphasized that constant changes of coaches, poorly managed transfer policy, and other decisions by F. Perez are dragging down the club and leaving them behind "Barcelona."
"In Madrid, we change coaches one after another without any major criteria in choosing them. We have to admit that all those years 'Barcelona' was ahead of us," R. Calderon spoke.
"Barca" has created their own style since Cruyff's arrival and has been sticking to it for decades. They have had good and bad years, but they always had a plan and an idea.
This will never happen in Madrid because the club president is an engineer. If he is not replaced, 'Real' will lose to 'Barca' by a bigger margin than 4-0," said a former colleague pouring criticism on F. Perez.
And finally, R. Calderon added: "Under Perez's leadership, the same number of coaches was changed as well in all 10 years. It is simply impossible to see this in other big clubs."
