Former Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon believes that Sergio Ramos is not happy in the Spanish capital and negotiations for a new contract are stalling because of this fact.
There are only two years left until the end of the defender's contract, and he is very interested in joining Manchester United.
Additionally, there is even a small possibility of moving to the rival camp in Barcelona.
"Obviously, Ramos does not feel happy because the president did not offer him a contract extension," Calderon told talkSPORT.
"I think this is due to his support for Carlo Ancelotti and his statement that he did not agree with the Italian's dismissal. The same situation applies to Iker Casillas."
Speaking about the possibility of Ramos moving to the ranks of the "Red Devils," the former "royal" club president did not dare to speculate, but named the Spaniard as one of the best defenders in the world.
