Former "Real" president Ramon Calderon revealed interesting information to the press. According to the Spaniard, the Madrid club had the chance last year to sell forward Gareth Bale for a huge sum of money, but made a big mistake by not doing so. "I know that on the last day of last year's transfer window, an offer came from the Premier League. They offered 100 million euros and Real said 'no', because they thought the player would be useful to the team," said R. Calderon. "I don't know what happened, but in the 2018 Champions League final Bale played well, but coach Z. Zidane told president F. Perez to sell Bale and keep C. Ronaldo.
