Brazilian football legend Roberto Carlos believes that Manchester City newcomer Gabriel Jesus should become an important part of the team after some time.
The 19-year-old Brazilian football talent was acquired by the "Citizens" last summer, but the striker only arrived in Manchester this winter and had the opportunity to stretch his legs at the end of the match against "Tottenham" in London.
"Gabriel will be a very important player for Manchester City, but he will need time to adapt," - said R. Carlos, who works at Real Madrid.
"I would like to ask people not to put pressure on Gabriel immediately and not to make him fight with a lot of pressure. In the first 15 minutes against Tottenham, he showed what he is capable of on the football field.
He demonstrated his impressive speed and technical skills. He managed to score a goal, unfortunately, it was disallowed. He is still young and needs time to adjust to a new country, but I have no doubt that he will become a star of this club," - concluded R. Carlos.
In 2016, the Brazilian scored 21 goals in his homeland.
