Legendary Real Madrid defender Roberto Carlos believes that the club's current star Cristiano Ronaldo will not stop at just five Ballon d'Or trophies.
The traditional "France Football" award for 2017 was presented to the Portuguese national team member yesterday, and by their count, the striker has now equaled Lionel Messi.
The 32-year-old footballer led the "royal" club to a second consecutive UEFA Champions League victory last season, as well as a victory in the Spanish championship.
"He will get many more. There will be many more trophies," Roberto Carlos said after the Golden Ball ceremony in Paris.
"He will win many more trophies."
Recently, Ronaldo also received recognition from FIFA, which awarded him the prize for the best world football player.
