Former French national team coach Raymond Domenech believes that N'Golo Kante is the best football player in the country.
He insists that by leading any team, he would acquire the London's "Chelsea" midfielder if the budget allowed.
The 26-year-old player rose to elite status two seasons ago when he triumphed in the Premier League with "Leicester City." He was first called up to represent his country only in 2016.
"You can see that there are two French national teams. One when he plays, and one when he doesn't play," Domenech told Goal.com. "In matches, you don't see him, but if you were looking for him, then you would notice all the work he does for other players."
"He is a symbol. He makes others better. If I coached a big club, he would be my first purchase."
"I think Didier Deschamps knows what happens with Kante and without him, and he will build a team around him. It's the same with Chelsea, it was the same with Leicester City."
"He is a player who improves the team. He always smiles - as a coach, you never have problems with him. He is exceptional. If I were in a club, Kante is the player I would buy first."
In the summer of 2016, Kante cost Chelsea €36 million.
