"Monaco" club forward Radamel Falcao, after hearing the doctors' prognosis that he will have to miss the 2014 World Cup, still does not lose hope of recovering by summer.

Recall that last week the Monaco team competed in the French Cup and celebrated victory. However, the match ended unsuccessfully for the forward as he suffered a knee injury, which will force him to miss the rest of the season.

"I am convinced that everything will be fine for me before the World Cup and I will be able to help the Colombian national team in this tournament," Falcao said at a press conference in a hospital in Portugal.

"When I heard that I suffered a serious injury and now there is little chance that I will participate in the World Cup, I did not lose hope. My dream is to play in this championship. I will do everything to be in Brazil," concluded the 27-year-old footballer.

It is worth mentioning that the 2014 World Cup will start on June 12 and end on July 13.
