Second leg of the French league cup semi-final was played, in which it became clear that "Monaco" football players will fight for the trophy against "Paris Saint-Germain". They defeated "Montpellier" at home.
Although the statistics of the match show an equal fight, "Monaco" started the game better and after Benjamin Lecomte deflected a shot from Andrea Raggi, Radamel Falcao scored the first goal almost immediately.
The score became 2-0 already in the 29th minute, when Falcao once again scored after a great pass from Rony Lopes. From this moment on, the hosts simply controlled the match.
They managed to send the ball into the net through Lopes again, but the referee disallowed it. However, the last goal was not needed.
The decisive match for "Monaco" against PSG awaits on March 31.
