R. Ferdinand: E. ten Hag mocks H. Maguire © Reuters

Former famous "Man Utd" defender Rio Ferdinand believes that "Red Devils" coach Erik ten Hag does not show flexibility.

According to the Englishman, the strategist should change his preconceived notion and give more playing time to defender Harry Maguire.

Otherwise, according to R. Ferdinand, disrespect is shown to a player who performed well in the World Cup in Qatar.

"If I were him, I would immediately want to leave the team. Now, instead of Maguire, Luke Shaw plays as a center-back."

It would be as if I returned after performing well in the World Cup and instead of me, they let Patrice Evra on the field.

In that case, I would have wanted to tackle the Frenchman. I would have tried to break him during training, so that Patrice could not play in the matches, and then I would have gone to the coach to ask him what he was mocking me for.

H. Maguire must leave. I think he stays on the team because of the high number of matches and because the team cannot find other players. He plays in cup matches," said R. Ferdinand.
