R. Ferdinand: 'Rashford has no chance of returning to the Man Utd squad' © ZUMAPRESS.com

Marcus Rashford's future at Manchester United looks increasingly uncertain.

The 27-year-old Englishman has recently not even been registered for matches, and after Sunday's game against Fulham, Man Utd coach Ruben Amorim publicly criticized the player's training efforts.

The Portuguese even boldly stated that he would rather involve the goalkeeping coach in the team than a player who does not work properly in training.

Former long-time United player Rio Ferdinand reacted to this situation, expressing that he has no doubt that M. Rashford's doors to returning to the team are already closed.

"If the coach had said something like that about me, I would feel tremendous shame. I think after such statements, Rashford has no chance of returning to the Man Utd squad.

His return would set a bad example for other players that they can relax for a while and still have the opportunity to come back," R. Ferdinand said on his YouTube channel.
