R. Filipavičius borrowing from Marijampolė "Sūduvai

In the 2024 season of the Lithuanian football A League, Marijampolė's "Sūduva" will be represented by Rokas Filipavičius, who is coming from Vilnius' "Riteriai" under a lease agreement.

The 24-year-old defender scored 4 goals and made 3 assists in 32 matches in the A League in 2023, while in 2022 he scored 10 goals and also made 3 assists.

"It is great to join 'Sūduva', a club with a deep history, traditions, people who love football. It is very motivating," said R. Filipavičius. "I hope that the next season will be successful for both the club and myself. I want to become an important part of the team, contribute to the results with good play and statistics. One of the goals is to achieve a higher position with the team than last year."

The player from Klaipėda has been playing in the country's elite football division since 2016, when he first put on the "Atlantas" jersey. He represented "Riteriai" from 2018.
