"Roma" head coach Rudi Garcia says he has no intention of resigning from his position, despite the team falling into a rut.
Yesterday, the injury-plagued team from the Italian capital suffered a 0-2 defeat at home to Bergamo's "Atalanta", and if today Milan's "Inter" beats "Napoli", "giallorossi" will be 6 points behind the top spot.
The Sunday defeat followed a crushing 1-6 loss to "Barcelona" in the UEFA Champions League.
"I will not give up," - Garcia told Corriere dello Sport. "I am angry, disappointed, and we have to fight to dig ourselves out of this situation.
"We must stay united, the guys cannot lose confidence. We can still be the same "Roma" with the best attack in all of Serie A.
"I will fight and give all my heart to "Roma". Those who think I will resign, do not know me."
Garcia also added that this period is definitely not the toughest for him at the helm of "giallorossi" and the club can still achieve its goals for this season - reaching the next stage of the Champions League and aiming for success in Italy.
