“Al-Nassr” team marked Cristiano Ronaldo's debut in the Saudi Arabian league with a victory.
After a successful match against “Al Ettifaq” (1:0), the club's head coach Rudi Garcia faced questions about the performance of the Portuguese player who did not score.
“It was very important for my players to play normally and not to constantly pass the ball to C. Ronaldo,” he said.
“I told them to make the right decisions on the field.
Of course, when Cristiano or Talisca are free and ask for the ball, then a pass should be made,” he added.
“In the match against ‘Al Ettifaq’, sometimes we missed in the penalty area either C. Ronaldo or Talisca, so we will have to work on this aspect,” R. Garcia said.
The next game for “Al Nassr” will be on Thursday, when they will face the team “Al Attihad” in the Saudi Super Cup match.
