R. Giggs: "O. G. Solskjaer and the team need time"

Victory in Sunday's match against "Newcastle United" would be a huge morale boost for "Manchester United," says the latter club's manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

In the "Premier League," "Man United" have collected 9 points in 7 rounds, marking the club's worst start in 30 years. Last Thursday, the "Red Devils" played a goalless draw against AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League, extending their winless streak to ten matches.

The team, currently in 11th place in the "Premier League," is facing criticism for poor performances and lackluster play under coach O. G. Solskjaer. Therefore, Sunday's away match against "Newcastle" (5 points) is of special importance to the Norwegian.

"A victory would be very important, it would lift the team's spirits. The lads could feel calmer heading into the international break. No one likes to lose matches. We put our whole heart, life, and soul into our work. When you win, you are always happier, the mood is better," said the "Man United" coach before the match.

O. G. Solskjaer also thanked the club's fans for their support and loyalty during tough times.

Former teammate of O. G. Solskjaer during the "glory days" of "Man United," Ryan Giggs, stated in an interview with "Sky Sports" that the current team simply needs some fresh blood and a few new players.

"They bought three new players, but they need four or five more new footballers. You can't do that in just one transfer window, so you have to be patient and endure. O. G. Solskjaer knows what he's doing and has a plan to improve the situation. However, he and the team need time," Giggs affirmed.
