After losing the match, Aston Villa player Reece James insulted the referee and received a hefty fine and suspension for it.

The FA fined the player £90,000 and suspended him for one match.

The defender admitted to using "inappropriate, insulting, and demeaning words" towards the match official.

The player is currently injured, and the suspension will be in effect when he returns from injury.

Chelsea is currently ranked 11th in the Premier League standings.
