R. Keane: Players with a liquid character pushed J. Mourinho after the bus

In the English media, the voices of discontent with Jose Mourinho's dismissal from "Man Utd" continue to be heard.

This time, legendary Manchester club goalkeeper Roy Keane spoke out, criticizing the players' backstage activities dealing with the Portuguese coach.

"The players got away with murder. They hid behind the manager and threw him under the bus," said the Irishman.

"You deal with these players who are overweight, train poorly, and don't show their potential. So, some of them should be ashamed.

I'm not the biggest Jose fan, but I can't justify athletes who hide behind agents' backs, in other words, in their friends' media reports. It's just ridiculous.

They're not weak as players, but they're weak as people. You can't say a word to them.

I was very lucky to have been in a completely different era. The team had good guys, true leaders, with characters - which is now a rarity.

We wouldn't have tolerated such behavior."
