"Manchester United" legend Roy Keane lasted long working as an assistant to Aston Villa's coach Paulo Lambert.

The official team page announced that the Irishman has stepped down from his position.

The 43-year-old Irishman will now only work as an assistant to his country's national team strategist Martin O'Neill.

In the Aston Villa team, R. Keane spent 151 days.

In the Premier League, Birmingham's team is in 16th place.
