R. Koeman does not rule out the possibility of taking over the "Barcelona" team © JumpStory

Dutch national team coach Ronald Koeman does not hide the fact that he is interested in the possibility of working at the "Barcelona" club. Earlier this autumn, the Dutch Football Federation revealed that the 56-year-old football specialist has the opportunity in his contract to spread his wings into club football after the 2020 European Championship. The current "Barcelona" strategist Ernesto Valverde's contract with the Catalans ends after this season, so everything points to R. Koeman becoming the most realistic candidate to take over the team's coaching duties. "Such an opportunity (to go to 'Barcelona') exists, but only after the European Championship," the strategist revealed at a press conference. "I don't know if I can continue talking about this topic because I don't think it's right to talk about moving to a certain club when you're standing at the helm of the Dutch national team," added R. Koeman. During his coaching career, the Dutchman has worked at teams such as "Ajax," "Southampton," "Everton," and "Valencia."
